Fewer compounds. Every one proven.
Researchers shouldn't have to guess what's in the vial. Too much of this market runs on trust and nothing else. Lucid Labs was built to be the opposite: a short list, and evidence behind every name on it.
Fewer compounds means every one gets our full attention: each one tested, each result on file, and anything we can't back up kept off the site.

Where it's made matters. How it's finished matters more.
The compound is only half the story. What happens after the powder exists is where quality is won or lost.
01
The raw material
An active pharmaceutical ingredient — the API — is the raw peptide powder before it ever reaches a vial. Most of the peptide raw material in this market is synthesized overseas. That isn't a secret in the industry; pretending otherwise doesn't help researchers.
02
The step most brands skip over
After synthesis, the powder still has to be dissolved, filtered, filled into vials, freeze-dried, and sealed. That finishing step is where contamination, breakdown, and inaccurate fills usually happen — especially outside a controlled environment. We source through U.S.-based suppliers who treat that process as non-negotiable, not an afterthought.
03
Verify, don't trust
We don't ask anyone to take our word for what's in the vial. Every lot is independently tested by an accredited laboratory, and the certificate of analysis is published so you can check it yourself. Full panel detail lives on our Quality page.
Words that get misused
A few phrases get thrown around in this space as if they mean more than they do:
FDA-registered is paperwork a company files. It is not FDA approval of a product or a facility.
FDA's Green List is a border list for certain imported GLP-1 ingredients — not a badge that applies to every peptide, and not an approval.
Research use only is a legal category. It is not, by itself, a quality claim.
We don't manufacture claims. Where something is verified, we say so. Where it isn't, we leave it off the page.
Moving with the science.
Proof only means something if the science behind it keeps pace. Analytical standards move forward every year, and we choose to move with them. We don't settle for yesterday's minimums; we work hand in hand with partners who invest in current technology.
That is why our testing now runs through Axiom Analytics. Their up-to-date instrumentation brings clearer analytics, and clearer analytics bring clearer answers. Every batch receives a full panel, and every sealed report is public and verifiable.
Small on purpose.
A short list means we know each supplier, test every batch, and keep a close eye on what comes in and what goes out. If a lab can't fully test it, we don't carry it. If a batch doesn't pass, it doesn't ship.
USA-Sourced, on purpose: every supplier is US-based, and every order ships from Ohio. It costs more. We chose it anyway.

Four things we won't bend on.
Test every batch.
An independent, sealed panel on every lot before it ships.
Publish the proof.
Every certificate open in the COA Library, proof you can check yourself.
Say only what's true.
Specs listed plainly. No invented claims, no padding.
Research use, stated plainly.
Restrictions shown on every product, not hidden in fine print.
